No.217: Boston & New Hampshire Part 2 - One Drawing Each Day #pen #drawing #sketch

The morning of August 17th.  We started from Boston Common.

Massachusetts State House
This is where the reception of Emperor's Birthday by Consulate General of Japan in Boston was held last year.  Inauguration ceremony of Japan Airline's Boston - Narita was held here, too.

There were many globes in town.  These are for messages of environmental protection.  They had Japanese archipelago, too.

I don't know if there is a tale of a rabbit and a turtle in English speaking countries, but...

Condolence of Boston bombing.

No.216: Boston & New Hampshire Part 1 - One Drawing Each Day #pen #drawing #sketch

The next weekend series is Boston & New Hampshire.  First to Boston and Fenway Park.

I found the finish line of Boston Marathon.  A few months ago, in this place...

Legendary Fenway Park.  Since it was Red Sox vs. Yankees, I saw quite a few people wearing Yankees uniforms and caps.

It was a great game.

I was also delighted to find Berklee College of Music.

No.215: Long Island Weekend Part 5 - One Drawing Each Day #pen #drawing #sketch

The small but cozy restaurant the Plaza Cafe was a very popular restaurant.  The foods were very nice.
Scallops I had were delicious but I was quite surprised and delighted with ice creams.  It was my first time to taste ginger sorbet which was really great.

In Long Island, in addition to the Old Field I posted a few days ago, we visited two wineries.  Wherever we went, people were enjoying picnicking.

The farmers' market we passed by was very lively.

On our way back to New York, we saw a car accident.

On August 11th, on our second day in Long Island, we had a nice breakfast at Pierre's Restaurant in Bridgehampton.  Many locals and tourists were enjoying breakfast in a wonderful atmosphere.
