No.228: Japanese Cute Sweets - One Drawing Each Day #pen #sketch #drawing

When I went to Tokyo at the beginning of this month, my brother bought me a cute box of Japanese sweets.  They were animal-shaped steam beans.
Kids love these.

No.227: A Big Web - One Drawing Each Day #pen #sketch #drawing

I guess it was the largest web I have ever seen.  And quite beautifully built, to tell you the truth.

So at first, we felt annoyed but then we started to admiring it.  Actually, at one time, there were two of them in the yard, both of which were quite big.

One of them, the above photo one, was just in front of the porch, so you might bump onto it if you rush to the outside from the house.  Since it's a bit dangerous, my husband decided to take it away.  Then the spider built a new home in the yard.  But again, it was in the middle of the yard and I suspedb lawn mowers broke it.  The other web was also gone.

Now we feel like we miss them.  Hope they are fine somewhere safer.

No.224: Boston & New Hampshire Part 9 - One DrawingEachDay #pen #drawing #sketch

Zimmerman House in Manchester is preserved by Courrier Museum of Art which holds organized tours to the House everyday.  This museum seems to have an interesting collection of art.  I enjoyed their poster exhibition.

So that was the end of the trip to Boston

This was my second time to visit Frank Lloyd Wright's work; Zimmerman House in New Hampshire.  The tour was organized by Courrier Museum of Art.  This museum itself was worth visiting.

No.222: Boston & New Hampshire Part 7 - One Drawing EachDay #pen #drawing #sketch

I long wanted to visit Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and finally made it.

This is the third time I saw the statue of a dancer by Monet.  The one in NY MOMA, the second one in Philadelphia and this was the third one.

There were several paintings I was delighted to see.

This was the one I wanted to see the most.  I couldn't find it in the section of Impressionists.  No wonder.  It was under the renovation and it was a rare opportunity to see this upside down.

Japanese section was also must see collection.

With some reason, the bottom half was upside down.
