When we visited Salem on October 5 & 6, we stayed in Gloucester.  Atlantis Oceanfront Inn was like a motel, but the ocean view from the room was gorgeous as well as breakfast.

Of course, there were many shops full of Halloween things in Salem.  This is their season.  They open till late at night and you can enjoy spooky shopping after dinner.

No. 261: Finz the Seafood Restaurant at Salem - One Drawing Each Day #pen #drawing #sketch

We visited Salem.  It must be the busiest season here because the town is famous for the witchcraft.  Finz the Seafood Restaurant we booked was very crowded.  It was quite hard to find a parking space as well.  But it was worth visiting this restaurant.  Foods were all very nice and the atmosphere was good. Some people enjoy dressing Halloween things.

No. 260: Kai Sweets - One Drawing Each Day #pen #drawing #sketch

It's always nice to shop at Mitsuwa and go to the food court afterwards. The only problem is that it's always too crowded and hard to find seats. 

But recently, someone told me that Kai Sweets is a great restaurant. The chef had been working in a famous restaurant in Manhattan of which name I forgot unfortunately. Omelet rice is the most recommended but hamburg lunch my kids ordered also seemed delicious. The source of the omelet rice was like that of hayashi rice. Foods are great but with some reason, you can always find vacant seats here.
