Since we came to the US, we still have not been to Vermont. So this summer, we decided to visit Stowe as a part of our journey. The ski resort looks very nice. Trapp Family Lodge was like a small Austrian village.

No.200: Weekend in New England - One Drawing Each Day #pen #drawing #sketch
My 200th drawing! We went to Vermont and upstate of New York at the end of July. I still couldn't figure out very well where exactly we went, so I decided to draw a map.
Since this is the "200th Anniversary", I looked back my old drawings. (Old but everything is from this year, anyway, though.)
This is the very first one. I didn't know what should be the first, so I chose to draw something easy.
And here are several early drawings that I like.

Cafe is a good place to look at people's faces... But then, for me, it is still difficult to draw on site. So I drew looking at my pinterest photo.

It was really cool yesterday. And it seems to be much cooler today. The highest is about 72 - 75.

No.197: Heat Wave Is Over - One Drawing Each Day #pen #drawing #sketch
Some day, I want to be able to draw doodling journal. At least I am trying...
As I wrote, a royal baby of UK was born on 22nd July and he was later named as George Alexander Louis. It seems American people really like royal family things.
Anyway, it's two weeks after that. Not only the heat wave is over but the summer is over? It was quite cool in the morning today. It was almost dark at 8:30 in the evening and I couldn't find fireflies. I now hear singing of insects and frogs. It's almost autumn and this makes me feel a bit lonely with some reason. This was perhaps the last summer in NY for me.

I had several day off. Our kids went to camping so my husband and I decided to visit Prince Edward Island and enjoy the atmosphere of Anne of Green Gables. The weather was marvelous and we had such a nice jurney.
