The Costs of Sequestration on Travel : Tourism Issue of the Day

US Travel Association: Sequestration-Driven Flight Delays Place 83,000 American Jobs and $9 Billion in US Economic Output at Risk.

According to Travel Market Report, Flight Stats says there were 7,027 delays nationwide on Monday and 6,396 on Tuesday.  The cuts of the budget are expected to be in place until Sept. 30.

Travel Pulse: Sequester Cuts - FAA Safety Specialists Say "Considerable Delays" Likely
President of Professional Aviation Safety Specialists said that due to the budget cut, there would be severe delays in travel.  Airlines for America has already taken legal action.
According to petergreenberg.com, JFK and LaGuardia saw more than 70-min delays for planes landing and around 30 min delays for take off.

1. Visited Westchester's Ridge Hill. Open air shopping mall. And went to UNIQLO.
2. Took a long walk along the Bronx River Path. Full of spring.

The Korean Air has cost advantage over Japanese airlines.  Japanese counterparts cost twice as much according to CAPA.
The capacity of Korean Air's seats of North America routes is increasing.  Now its share is 16% of its total seats.  North America is their core market.

Three happy experiences of April 21.
  1. Visited Wolf Conservation Center and learnt about wolves.
  2. Could drive to and from Wolf Conservation Center.  Perhaps it was the longest drive I have ever done by myself.
  3. Studied about blogger.dom and did some setup --- but still cannot upload a video...

I have been using Weebly.com blog but I decided to change to Blogger.  The blog is basically a drawing blog.  Here is my new post - One Drawing Each Day No. 101.
