Station Architecture: White Plains Station (Metro North Railroad)

The other day, I posted about Scarsdale Station.  If I ride two more stations, that will be White Plains Station.  The station itself is rather boring but I am intrigued by the clock tower.  This maybe the symbol of White Plains.

The rail service in this station started in 1844.  The railway company was New York and Harlem Railroad which is one of the first railroads in the US.

Before I forget, I paste the link to the information about farmers market in Westchester.  It's summer time now and there are lots of things to do outside.
