A business model of SQ is interesting in particular.  While SQ is a full service long haul carrier, it has full service short haul carrier Silk Air which is a 100% subsidiary.  SQ also has 32.9% of Tiger Airways which is a typical short haul no frill LCC.  What's more, it also has long haul LCC Scoot which is 100% controlled by SQ.
