You should never miss this centennial terminal if you are in New York.

This terminal opened in February 1913.  This year is its centennial anniversary.
Tokyo Station in Japan will be 100 years old in December 1914 so it's almost the same age.
Therefore, they contracted sister station partnership this year.

During Memorial Day weekend this year, we revisited Niagara Falls.
We wanted to get on board on Maid of the Mist, which we did!

1. Had a nice dinner and heard interesting airline stories.
2. Cool and comfortable.
3. Arranged a lunch on Friday.

It seems this Hungarian railcar is not the first solar-powered train.  There is a train powered by solar energy which runs between Paris and Amsterdam.  Uh, well this is solar-powered maybe but it says "the tunnel will generate enough electricity to power all the trains in Belgium for the equivalent of one day per year."

In that case, this Hungarian train can be regarded as almost first solar-powered railcar.

It was really a summer day.  I enjoyed Bicycle Sunday for the first time this year.
In the afternoon, I visited Lyndhurst Castle to see the Rose Garden.

Lyndhurst was designed in 1838 by Alexander Jackson Davis.  Important owners of this mansion in the past include former New York City mayor William Paulding, merchant George Merritt and railroad tycoon Jay Gould.  The architecture is Gothic Revival.
