Yankees Stadium: One Drawing Each Day No.150 #pen #drawing #sketch

We went to Yankees Stadium on June 1st to watch Yankees vs Red Sox game.  Unfortunately, Yanks didn't do well at all...  These days, Yanks are not good enough.

  1. Comfortable brisk air in the morning.
  2. Went to a nice shipboard reception on Kojima, A training vessel of Japan Coast Guard.

Oslo is the most expensive city - Tripadvisor Tripindex 2013: Tourism Issue of the Day

Tripadvisor announced this year's Tripindex.

The world most expensive city to travel is Oslo.
Tripindex 2013 by Tripadvisor

The good news for me is Tokyo is not so expensive now.
The total cost of travel is ranked in 12th and it is less expensive than Rio de Janeiro.
Hotel costs of $242 must be the costs of quite luxury hotels.
Dinner usually does not cost as high as $96.

Contour Drawings: One Drawing Each Day No.148 #pen #sketch #drawing

I tried "contour drawing" - a sort of.  It is said that you should not look at your pen.  So the drawing may look like Picasso's figure.  I cannot draw this type of picture if I draw carefully, so contour drawings are fun to try.

  1. Not too busy so I could do things which I had not been able to do for a while.
  2. Had a good farewell dinner.
  3. A cab driver was kind enough to drive up to the driveway because it was raining.

A Portrait Practice to Draw Shadow: One Drawing Each Day No. 147 #pen #drawing #sketch

Drawing shade and shadow is difficult. I like the idea of practice which high school kids exhibited at the school art festival.

Albany - Government Building: One Drawing Each Day No.146 #pen #drawing #sketch

It was our first visit to Albany when we went there at the end of May.

  1. Enjoyed shopping at Riverside Mall in New Jersey.
  2. Bought several books at Burns and Noble at Riverside.  Cannot wait to read them.  Most of them are drawing books.
  3. Enjoyed shopping and dinner at Mitsuwa.  Noodles are nice.
Riverside Mall

Bloomingdales at Riverside
This shopping mall was quite nice.  Perhaps this is larger than the mall in White Plains we usually go.  More than anything else, I liked Burns and Nobles.  It was really large and had many books I wanted to see.
